| | | Sharon McCone is hired by her husband's security firm to track down "the ever-running man," a shadowy figure who has been leaving explosive devices at their various offices. | Author Bio| Marcia Muller | | Marcia Muller attended the University of Michigan and graduated in 1966 with a B.A. in English and in 1971 with an M.A. in journalism. She moved to the San Francisco Bay area, where she would later set her novels featuring Sharon McCone, one of the most influential creations in women's mystery writing. Considered the first great hard-boiled female detective, McCone made her debut in "Edwin of the Iron Shoes" (1977). In 1992, Muller married mystery writer Bill Pronzini, with whom she has collaborated as both an editor and writer. |
